ETWINNING NATIONAL PRIZE FOR THE PROJECT: MYSTERIOUS NSSs HEROES WILL SAVE EUROPE

Celebrating the ETWINNING NATIONAL PRIZE!

Students Grade 6 have been awarded by the eTwinning national Prize 2022 with the project : " Mysterious NSSs superheroes will save Europe”. It was developed with other students from Italy, Greece and Bulgaria during the school year 2020-21.

Students learnt about hackers, fake news and the dangers in internet. they fostered their communicative and digital skills and they also learned how to work collaboratively.

Last Wednesday 22nd november the ceremony took place in Palacio Municipal IFEMA in Madrid.

EWWR Sustainable Art alphabet in the shortlist of European Special Prize 2018!

GREAT NEWS!!!!

Our EWWR Sustainable Art alphabet " has been shortlisted as one of three finalists for an EWWR Award 2018 in the category European Special Prize. Congratulations! The level of competition was very high and only the actions judged to be the most impactful and long lasting were nominated for an award. We are among a select group of only 16 finalists out of 14,437 actions!"
We have been invited to join for the EWWR Awards Ceremony, which will take place at the European Committee of the Regions in Brussels on May 15.

FIRST NATIONAL PRIZE 2019 for the eTwinning project " Monumental Europe"

MONUMENTAL EUROPE awards non-stop!

This is the second national prize for the project, the first one in France, now in Spain!

According to the jury, the project has been awarded :

Categoría 2 [7-11]:

  • Fina Vendrell, Col·legi Sant Josep, Cataluña.

Se trata de un proyecto eTwinning muy creativo , innovador y motivador que, centrándose en el Año Europeo de Patrimonio Cultural, ha unido a cinco países para trabajar en un propósito común que ha reforzado un sentimiento compartido de identidad europea.

Destacamos la originalidad y creatividad del tema del proyecto, las metodologías utilizadas y  la gran variedad de actividades llevadas a cabo colaborativamente por los socios. El trabajo, bien organizado por el profesorado con pautas claras y bien explicadas, ha permitido la autonomía del alumnado, que ha sido protagonista del proyecto. De todo ello hay constancia en las páginas del Twinspace, en el diario del proyecto y en el foro dedicado al calendario colaborativo.

The school will be invited to the eTwinning Annual Conference 2019 which will take place in one European country in October.

European eTwinning Award for the project MONUMENTAL EUROPE

We feel very proud to announce you that Sant Josep school had been is the winner of the eTwinning Award for European Year of Cultural Heritage category 6-12 for the project “Monumental Europe” .

The closing ceremony of the EYCH took place in Viena on 6 and 7 December 2018. The event was organized jointly by the Austrian Presidency of the Council of European Union and the  European Commission.

The project was awarded because of these prize criteria:

1. Raise awareness of the common history and values
2. Reinforce a sense of belonging to Europe
3. Demonstrate ways of better understanding
4. Promote Europe's cultural heritage as a shared resource
by using intercultural and collaborative educational practices.

WE ARE THE WINNERS OF THE ETWINNING AWARD FOR THE YEAR OF CULTURAL HERITAGE 2018!!!!!!

Because this 2018 has been the European year of Cultural Heritage,

We are proud to announce you that we are the winners in the category 6-12 in Europe with our project :

MONUMENTAL EUROPE

CONGRATULATIONS to all participants : students, teachers, local institutions, European partners...

this award is the final result of a great effort of cooperation, teamwork and shared learning!

This project was also awarded as First national prize in France

3 EUROPEAN ETWINNING QUALITY LABELS !!!

We are glad to announce you that we got 3 European Quality labels for the 3 eTwinning projects we did last school year:

1. "Let's Claim I want peace on the European Day of languages" . Parents, teachers and students from more than 26 countries joined the project and spread "PEACE" all over the world!

2. " URRRGENT! Europe's knocking at the door". Greece and Catalonia worked together to fight against sustainable problems, spread culture and join International initiatives which also work on theses goals such as " Climate Action project" and the European Week of Waste Reduction and also " Let's Clean Up Europe".

3. And last but not least, " MONUMENTAL EUROPE": France, Greece, Italy, Poland and Catalonia were involved in this project which main goal was to give an added value to our cultural heritage as 2018 is the European Year of Cultural Heritage.

Cécile and her pupils from France got the 1st National prize and were invited to eTwinning annual conference in Warsaw from 26 to 28th October 2018.

The Greek partner, Sophia was also invited to do a presentation workshop about our project in the annual conference in Warsaw.

Our project URRRGENT! EUROPE'S KNOCKING AT THE DOOR got the National Quality Label too and with a very high score: 97%

Proud to announce that we already got 2 eTwinning National Quality labels for the eTwinning projects developed during this school year
One for the project done in September-October with the whole school and more than 28 European participant countries : I WANT PEACE

One for the project: MONUMENTAL EUROPE, due to the celebration of the European Cultural Heritage year 2018, with 5 participant countries: France, Italy, Greece, Poland and Catalonia

Room scape in Grade 6 as a prize of the schools song contest '18

Today we could enjoy the whole afternoon trying to solve the puzzles and clues of  a room escape .
We had great fun playing together .
Five teachers from ACTIVA came to school and organized us a room escape . We had to take a plane at 5 o'clock , but before we needed to solve the clues and puzzles we found down in the gym.
All the three groups managed to get onboard the plane and go back home.

This was our prize of the schools song contest '18 we won in may in Barcelona, which was organized by FECC.

eMotion in the Mediterranean, our eTwinning project 2016-2017 has been awarded by Federació Escoles Cristianes de Catalunya in the 16a Jornada Tic, celebrated in Col·legi l'Estonnac de Barcelona.

We are proud to announce that our eTwinning project "eMotion in the Mediterranean" developed last school year with 5 graders got the National Quality Label. Greece, our partner country got the Quality Label too.

Our cruise across the eTwinning sea, visiting many islands, learning about how to keep healthy, creating wonderful works of art, walking among the nature with our parents and hundreds of more activities... WAS ONE OF THE BEST EXPERIENCES EVER LIVED!

QUALITY LABEL FOR THE PROJECT: eTwinning tree!!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

We got the quality label for the Project eTwinning tree.

34 schools from 26 European countries were working together all along the last school year.

pupils from Grade 6 wrote stories about the school fir tree, they planted an olive tree in the school yard which is growing bigger now, they created a magic ebook and they even  "Skyped" with other pupils from other countries.

Our international project eTwinning tree has been awarded by the National Quality label.

The project activity put the students in direct contact with the nature  through trips to visit a remarcable tree in their region , through planting a tree and creation of travelling book about tree. We had activities which indirectly steered and construction in the students a love of nature- online creating a toys for the Christmas tree , online creating  a tree from non-traditional materials , online creating a tale of magic tree.The project is dedicated to eTwinning program and its 10-th aniversary, therefore the project  was named "eTwinning tree".

 Just watch the programme " La aventura del saber" , 13th January on " La 2 rtve " and you will see our pupils and teachers talking about how much they learn while they run an eTwinning project with other partners from other countries.

Sant Josep school in Europe again!

We are very proud to say that once more we have been invited by the European education Comission of Brussels to the eTwinning Annual conference 2015 from 22nd to 24th October.
More than 500 teachers from 41 different European countries had the change to participate in several workshops and conferences organized focussed on "Active citizenship".

We were invited to run a workshop with our partner from Greece, Angeliki Kougiourouki to tell the assistants  about the project : "Powerfulnaturekingdom.et"  , European winner project in eTwinning 2015 prizes category 4-11.
