MEDIEVAL MARKET IN GEMONA, ITALY. Erasmus + project "Kids conquering Castles"

 KCC cooperative” Grade 6, has been working along the school year 2017-2018, designing prototypes, making a market study, advertisements and creating products concerning castles. The final goal was selling them at the Medieval Market held in Gemona, Italy on 18th may 2018.

More than a hundred students from six different points of Europe: Germany, Greece, Austria, Wales,Italy and Catalonia lived together during a whole week in order to participate in a wide variety of activities related to the world of castles from the children side.
Orienteering tours, cultural visits, medieval tournaments, artisan workshops etc. enhanced team work, communicative and cultural interaction, new friendship and unforgettable memories.

Parents, students and teachers and also the whole town of Gemona joined together to celebrate the Medieval market combined with the traditional Italian game called " el Palio"

And the story will go on as the benefits got in the market will be part of a social project which will be developed next school year and will reach the summit next May 2019 in Berlin, within the Erasmus+ project Kids conquering Castles!
