What an amazing week !
We are celebrating the European Week for Waste Reduction '21 with an eTwinning project called " European GREEN WEEK in eTwinning"
Schools from all over the world joined the project: Catalonia, Spain, France, Italy, Romania, India, Pakistan, Vietnam, Turkey, Tunisia etc
We are doing different actions every day of the week:
LOGO CONTEST
Parents and teachers participated in the logo contest. Students voted their favourite ones: Number 7 is the winner, then number 3 and then number 15

MONDAY: WE ARE GREEN

WEDNESDAY. WE ARE ZERO WASTE FOOD
Do you know what to do with dry bread you have at home? easy peasy! Bread soup!
What to do with ripe fruit?
Students grade 4 have the solution! first they can let their creativity fly and draw a beautiful design, then they can prepare a tasty fruit salad and eat it!
THURSDAY: WE ARE NOT PLASTIC
Students grade 4 celebrated an online meeting with other pupils from Greece and France.
We filled in a PPT presentation where each country filled in with impòrtant messages about why plastic is so dangerous and what we can do to get rid of plastic.
finally we sang and danced a song all together: No more single use plastic!
Students grade 5 and grade 6 attended two different conferences about Plastic in the oceans by the oceanographer and biologist Josep Roma and The sea turtles by CRAM (from Barcelona)
Amazing conferences ! we learned a lot and our awareness about the use of plastic is higher now!

The last day of the GREEN WEEK! time to plant life!
Graders 3 made SEED BOMBS . Beautiful and colourful flowers will grow in Spring in our gardens and homes.
And last but not least! we planted two tall trees in the playground. they will grow tall and new green leaves will bloom in spring, and we will have shade again when we play!
