Handmade bookmarks travelling to Greece

"When you read a book, you travel far away"

Catalan bookmarks on their way to Greece!

Beautiful handmade bookmarks with wonderful messages to encourage our Greek partners to keep reading have been sent to their country.

We celebrated our Sant George's festival designing and making beautiful bookmarks to share with our friends from Greece.

READING POETRY MAKES ME FLY

Poetry is magic,

for someone.

Students grade 5 are working on an eTwinning project with First Experimental Primary school from Alexandroupoli, Greece and we want to celebrate the month of poetry, march, reading and creating poems.
Here is a video with some of the poems we read and recorded for our Greek partners.

A travelling bag " travelling" to Greece !

Our partners from grade 5 prepared a " Travelling bag" with 3 books, a notebook , a bookmark and a pen . They sent it to their partners from Alexandroupolis.
We want to share the good moments we can spend reading books.
This is an activity , within the eTwinning project called " Reading makes me fly"

STORYTELLING WITH OUR GREEK PARTNERS

Do you know that during this month of February we shared stories with our Greek partners?

Just amazing dear friends, we read a story for them which is called " Handa's surprise" and they read a story for us " Rumpelstiltskin".
We learnt a lot, we learnt how to read in English with good pronunciation, new words, new stories, we travelled to Africa with handa,... it has been a wonderful experience.
We want to repeat it!

Recommending books via online!

Students of Grade 5 are running an eTwinning project called " Reading makes me fly" with Greece as a partner country .

Last thursday 10th January we held a videoconference where apart from wishing us a happy New Year, we recommended books to read.

It was amazing to see that some of them were the same for both of us, such as " Diary del Greg".

The second part of the live event was preparing the questions for a survey about reading that we will ask to our friends from grades 4 and 6 and also the teachers and parents.
