Little Red, Mr thomas, Granny, Lupita, the perfumist and Mr Wolf performed for us a beautiful story full of songs , dances and good values.
How fun is learning English while we sing, we dance and we share stories together!!!
Our travelling bags are travelling again from home to school and from school to home in all the primary levels!!!
They are full of books, games and a puppet inside!
Students will have fun reading, playing games with their families and talking with the puppet, and at the same time learning English!
The first week of October we have a guest at our school: Claire, from Ireland. She came here to learn about our school as Green school, but we have also learnt a lot from her, her school and her country:
legends, dances etc.
First, we welcomed her all together at the gym and introduced her our school, our town and our country.
After a school tour, she participated in the meeting of the Environmental committee in the afternoons, with students, teachers, parents and members of the Town hall.
Next day, we invited her to a sightseeing tour around Navàs with pupils of grade 4. We enjoyed a lot showing her our Ramon Vall Avenue, the Town Hall, Sports centre, etc.
Claire also enjoyed some of the lessons in our school such as Arts and Craft, Science, Spanish and English.
She also told us about her school and about Ireland. She even taught us a how to dance an Irish dance!
We had the chance to meet teachers and Claire and compare our schools and Educational Systems. it was a great challenge for all of the teachers!
Time flies, and the end came soon, and last but not least, she also had time to tell us an Irish legend and gave us a beautiful book with the storY
THANK YOU CLAIRE! It has been a pleasure having you in our school. You will be always welcome here. Hope to meet you one day in Ireland too!

this year we celebrated Saint George's Day exchanging books and bookmarks with messages on them between our schools and also our Greek partner school from Alexandroupoli.
We brought our Catalan tradition of Saint George's Day, one of the most important festivals in Catalonia, to Greece.
Greek students and teachers exchanged books and gave bookmarks to their classmates.
We have also sent a bookmark to Greece and they have sent a bookmark to us.
Pupils from all levels participated in the handmade bookmarks and the swappable book market.

Pupils of 6th Grade recommended a book on their bookmark too!
Pupils on 1st and 2nd Grade enjoyed participating in the Story called: "Let's clean the forest"
Foxes, rabbits, deers, moles, squirrels, robins, owls etc... lived happy in the forest. but one day... a group of humans came to have a picnic and left all the rubbish there. The animals were so sad, and worried about that.
Then, the wise owl organized a meeting in the forest . They decided to work as a team and pick up all the rubbish in a clever way. recycle everything and put it inside the correct bins.
Finally they made signs to inform the Humans that they need to keep the forest and nature clean.
After the story, all the pupils made their own recycling bins.
We enjoyed and learnt a lot together!
We had great fun with the show of blue mango theatre Company called "Zapping"
Eli, Nick and Brian were really amazing . Brian was a good boy and very good at singing!,Nicky who was Eli's sister, was a bully, although she can play the guitar vey well and Eli, can't sing or play the guitar but she can write very nice songs.
They finally win the Talent competition!!!
After the show, some pupils have asked the actors and actresses some questions.
We have learnt about the Solar System and the planets thanks to this show.
We also looked at the full moon yesterday 31st January , it was shiny and round and beautiful!
All kids in Sant Josep school celebrated the European Day of Languages sending messages of Peace, drawing creative pictures and wishing PEACE to all over the world !
EVERYBODY ... SMILES ... IN THE SAME LANGUAGE
It has been a Day of Happiness and love and Peace at the school today. All students and teachers shared the same feeling: I WANT PEACE, and we celebrated this special day drawing pictures in the ICT room, painting hands, singing songs and even saying this message in multiple languages!
Friday 7th April, all primary students went to Local Sant Genís because a wonderful show was waiting for us. Beauty and the Beast.
Brilliant songs, funny and professional actors and actresses made us to spend an enjoyable time.
We learnt a lot and we had great time with Belle, Maurice, Ursula and the Beast.
Rares, Marta, David and ... came up to the stage to become famous people such as Albert Einstein!

Grade 6: A tree full of wishes
Christmas meetings in the English class:
Pupils from Grade 4 made Christmas toys via Skype while their partners from Malta gave the instructions , and we from Catalonia and others from Lithuania and Slovenia were making the beautiful trees.

In Grade 5 we celebrated a Christmas party online.
More than 35 European schools participated in the event. Carols , poems , cakes and other traditions from many different countries were shown to Europe.
Catalonia presented the tradition of "Caga tió"
In Grade 6 we were busy writing and preparing the Christmas card for our KCC Erasmus+ partners from Europe:
El tió and its tradition was also sent inside the envelope next to the Xmas Card.

Our international project eTwinning tree has been awarded by the National Quality label.

The project activity put the students in
direct contact with the naturethrough
trips to visit a remarcable tree in their region , through planting a tree and
creation of travelling book about tree. We had activities which indirectly steered
and construction in the students a love of nature- online creating a toys for
the Christmas tree , online creatinga
tree from non-traditional materials , online creating a tale of magic tree.The
project is dedicated to eTwinning program and its 10-th aniversary, therefore
the projectwas named "eTwinning
tree".

The Middle ages, knights, servants, peasants, monks, lords, kings, jugglers etc. the was a princess long ago story and song . The medieval diet, the parts of the castle. Lots of wonderful cardboard box castles made by our pupils in cicle mitjà. A performance called "Nutri fit family" with characters from Greece, Poland and Catalonia.
