JOB SHADOWING with Claire Lunney from Ireland

The first week of October we have a guest at our school: Claire, from Ireland. She came here to learn about our school as Green school, but we have also learnt a lot from her, her school and her country:
legends, dances etc.
First, we welcomed her all together at the gym and introduced her our school, our town and our country.

After a school tour, she participated in the meeting of the Environmental committee in the afternoons, with students, teachers, parents and members of the Town hall.

Next day, we invited her to a sightseeing tour around Navàs with pupils of grade 4. We enjoyed a lot showing her our Ramon Vall Avenue, the Town Hall, Sports centre, etc.

Claire also enjoyed some of the lessons in our school such as Arts and Craft, Science, Spanish and English.
She also told us about her school and about Ireland. She even taught us a how to dance an Irish dance!

We had the chance to meet teachers and Claire and compare our schools and Educational Systems. it was a great challenge for all of the teachers!

Time flies, and the end came soon, and last but not least, she also had time to tell us an Irish legend and gave us a beautiful book with the storY
THANK YOU CLAIRE! It has been a pleasure having you in our school. You will be always welcome here. Hope to meet you one day in Ireland too!

STORYTELLING: LET'S CLEAN THE FOREST

Pupils on 1st and 2nd Grade enjoyed participating in the Story called: "Let's clean the forest"
Foxes, rabbits, deers, moles, squirrels, robins, owls etc... lived happy in the forest. but one day... a group of humans came to have a picnic and left all the rubbish there. The animals were so sad, and worried about that.
Then, the wise owl organized a  meeting in the forest . They decided to work as a team and pick up all the rubbish in a clever way. recycle everything and put it inside the correct bins.
Finally they made signs to inform the Humans that they need to keep the forest and nature clean.

After the story, all the pupils made their own recycling bins.
We enjoyed and learnt a lot together!
