eMotion in the Mediterranean, Premi TIC 2018

A very interesting event today in Escola Estonnac de Barcelona, where we got the award for the eTwinning project " eMotion in the Mediterranean" which was developed with the students of grade 5 during the school year 2016-17 with the cooperation of First Experimental Primary school from Alexandroupoli, Greece.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE STUDENTS WHO MADE IT POSSIBLE!

The jure considered the project as a good example of cooperation, reinforcement of values and acquisition of ICT competences meanwhile students communicated in English.
 The prize constists on a Software licence MOZABOOK for a year, given by Atlantic Devices.

16a Jornada TIC, 10th May 2018

eMotion in the Mediterranean, our eTwinning project 2016-2017 has been awarded by Federació Escoles Cristianes de Catalunya in the 16a Jornada Tic, celebrated in Col·legi l'Estonnac de Barcelona.

Here is the presentation of our project in one of the several sessions which has been held during the day.

NATIONAL QUALITY LABEL for the project: eMotion in the Mediterranean

We are proud to announce that our eTwinning project "eMotion in the Mediterranean" developed last school year with 5 graders got the National Quality Label. Greece, our partner country got the Quality Label too.
Congratulations to all participants for the efforts, work and illusion.

The première of Adventures in the Mediterranean

there, we met Tina and Willy,  and kids of grade 5 explained their work in the project: eMotion in the Mediterranean, an eTwinning project shared with our Greek partners from 1st Experimental Primary school from Alexandroupolis.

Adventures in the Mediterranean, the film

After one whole year working hard students of Grade 5 in Sant Josep school and Grade 6  in 1st Experimental Primary school of Alexandroupolis Greece, we could celebrate the première of the film " Adventures in the Mediterranean".
It has been the final product of an eTwinning project called eMotion in the Mediterranean .
the project allowed us to discover countries in the Mediterranean, what is the brightest and the saddest side of this wonderful sea. We have also created an ebook of emotions , a story, a song... and what is the best: a film.
Enjoy the film watching the adventures of  the two protagonists Tina the turtle and Willy the whale.

WONDERFUL DIORAMAS ABOUT THE SEA

Just awesome !
It is incredible how far can our kids' creativity can reach.
Just look at all these wonderful works of art and you will understand the glorious moments we spent together designing and creating a world under the sea . Why? Because the sea is calling me!!

Boats of hope for the refugees of Syria

What's happening in the world? what is happening in the Mediterranean sea?
Thousands of people are suffering because of the war, risking their lives when they leave their country, losing their homes, their family, their friends, their school and teachers... and having nothing, to do and nowhere to go .
Why is life so sad ? that's not fair. all the children and the people in the world have the right of LIFE, so we wonder, why are there so many bad people who still kill the others?

What can we do? we would like to open our arms and hug all these children who are sad and need a warm smile! we would like to open the doors of our school and our home to help them find the warm side of life again.

After watching some videos and talking a lot about this terrible situation, the pupils from Greece and Catalonia have made a paper boat with a wish inside, just to tell the WHOLE WORLD that want PEACE, LOVE AND HAPPINESS FOR EVERYONE.
We wish our boat dreams come true!

After a long hard work with our Greek partners we, the students in grade 5, have finished the "Emotions ebook": happiness, sadness, anger, surprise ... are inside our book with funny faces, lovely poems and beautiful images.
