We celebrated the European Day of Languages with the song " an anthem for the European Day of Languages". Students of grade 6 performed the multilingual son " Voices of Europe" with a short part in Catalan. This is an amazing way to give visibility to the great cultural power speaking languages is and the best way to show to the world that learning many languages unites us among all the European countries.
We are so happy to announce you that we became European blue school after doing the Erasmus + and eTwinning project " WAT@RT" with Ireland and Portugal during the school year 2024-25.

On October 21st we will welcome our Erasmus+ partners from Norway and Germany.

Amazing topics presented by 6th graders to demonstrate their speaking skills at the end of their Primar stage.
interesting, original, well documented, good use of language structures and vocabulary and beautiful visual aids.
the audience was astonished and surprised in numerous occasions thanks to the high level of content of the oral presentations. Congratulations guys!

Nativity play grade 3:
After a long and busy process "Wat@rt" has its own logo.
It is so beautiful and it has been designed according to the instructions given by the three partner countries:
- Blue and white
- Containing the word "water" in the 3 languages: irish, Catalan and Portuguese
- designed in Canva
The first steps were given in an online meeting , then students started their designs during the celebration of Erasmus Days, after that the 3 finalists of each school were voted by partners from Grade 5 and finally here it is.

DAY 1:
Our first day in Portugal with our Erasmus+ project “Wat@rt”.
Exciting moments flying by plane, meeting our European partners from Ireland, discovering the beauty of the seaside in Alvor and enjoying the day with our friends and teachers. Waiting for tomorrow new experiences!

Erasmus Days '23 event at Sant Josep school.
We spent the afternoon together: students, teachers and families working on activities about our Erasmus+ and eTwinning project called " Wat@rt".
Each team had 20 minutes to work on each station.
There were 4 different stations:
- Find the Wat@rt memory game hidden around the school. Follow the map instructions , find the pieces and finally, play the game
- Design the collaborative logo with Canva
- Create a collaborative watercolour mural " the ways of water"
- Write the paper chain messages after reading a pair of texts and watching a pair of videos.
We have learned about the importance to save water, we worked together , we developed our creativity and critical thinking skills, and learned about orientation skills , we became more open minded and most of all, we enjoyed it a lot!

Today we discovered our project with a funny experiment!
- We had some envelopes with a quote inside.
Once we have written all the quotes and shared theri meaning, the teachers gave us a candle and ...
MAGIC!!! a hidden letter appeared in the message between the words of the quote.
And now we know that our project will be about WATER and about ART!!
We are so excited to start working together with our European partners from Portugal and Ireland.
Amazing afternoon last 8th June in Sant Josep Navàs.
Pupils ,families and teachers gathered in the community Theatre from 3 to 5 in the afternoon.
Students presented their project to the families and their school partners.
They also asked the audience to interact by asking them questions related to the project.
At the end of the presentation, families even answered a survey and gave their opinion.
Pupils boosted their oral skills and reinforced their self-confidence while presenting in front of an audience.
It was a very fruitful experience !
At the end of the presentation the teachers gave them a certificate of participation to the project and a little gift : an eTwinning notebook and a sustainable lunch box.
